Project Descripton
The Urban Forestry Network works across Mississippi and Arkansas to plan and implement tree-planting efforts in nine disadvantaged communities. We designed the website to serve as an accessible digital hub that explains the value of urban forests and equips communities with the tools and guidance needed to take action locally.
This website focuses on:
- Presenting a how-to guide in a clear, step-by-step format so communities can easily replicate tree-planting efforts
- Organizing content with simple, intuitive navigation so users can quickly find resources, guidance, and project information
- Highlighting the environmental, social, and economic benefits of urban forestry with easy-to-digest explanations
- Using clean, engaging design to make the information approachable while encouraging participation and community action
